My Values
The core things which define how I go about my work Coming soon….
Whether you and/or your trustees are at the start of a project journey and wondering where to begin, developing a project to its next stage, or struggling to find a clear vision, I can offer leadership days and workshops to facilitate your conversation.
As projects grow and develop they face new challenges and opportunities, which can sometimes be difficult to navigate or even overwhelming. I can offer an external pair of eyes or a practical support with particular tasks, supporting you with your work.
Having worked in the third sector for almost twenty years in a variety of teams and on various trustee and governing bodies, I can offer support and coaching to your team, whether you are forming a new one or growing and developing an existing group.
For the last twenty years I have been involved in running community projects, starting by training as a community worker from 2008-2010 in Birmingham, where I ran a residents led project for seven years, then moving into communications, training and strategic thinking for the Methodist Church, where I trained as a Prince2 Project Manager. In 2021 I moved to Hereford, where I worked in operations and project management. In 2022 when the invasion of Ukraine began I volunteered to start a project working with Ukrainian refugees in Hereford, which then became funded and employed its own staff. I now work for the Diocese of Hereford and their Support for Ukraine Project.
As well as being a Prince2 Project manager, I have also trained and developed expertise around communications, developing training courses, GDPR, safeguarding and coaching. I am also a certified Mental Health First Aider.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors in almost any format, and being an active part of my church.
